ALPhANOV
Technological center of the Route des Lasers competitiveness cluster
The technological center is set up as an association. The president is Jean-Louis Blouin, managing director of i2S (a company specialized in industrial and scientific vision systems) in Pessac.
With assistance from the Aquitaine Regional Council, in close collaboration with CEA CESTA, CNRS , the University of Bordeaux 1 and University Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2, ALPhANOV provides the technological resources necessary to support innovative industrial R&D projects, with the potential for growth and job creation. ALPhANOV, with 700 m² of technical premises and office space, employs about ten engineers and specialists in technology transfer.
ALPhANOV possesses a highly diversified range of lasers, imaging and metrology resources devoted to the development of collaborative research/industry projects. It has signed 140 contracts which have either been completed or are currently underway in participation with numerous collaborative projects at the regional and European levels. ALPhANOV received quality label certification as a “Centre de Ressources Technologiques” attributed by the Ministry of Research. ALPhANOV is backed by the European Union, the French government and the Aquitaine Regional Council within the framework of the State-Region project contract for 2007-2013.
